Where We Ride

We know this country.
We've hunted it.

Alamar backs the brands being built for the people who live outdoors — and we understand that customer in a way most investors never will.

A $75 billion market that coastal capital
still doesn't understand.

Hunting and fishing are not niches. They are a $75 billion American industry built on loyalty so deep it gets passed down through generations. The customer who trusts a brand in this market trusts it the way they trust their truck and their dog. That kind of loyalty is extraordinarily hard to build — and extraordinarily valuable when you have it.

Coastal capital doesn't do this world. The investors who understand SaaS unit economics don't understand why a hunter won't switch broadheads, or why a fly fisherman will drive four hours to a specific fly shop. The brands that serve these communities have been chronically underfunded, not because the opportunity isn't there, but because the capital isn't interested.

We've already found the gate.

Treezyn Apparel is a great example of how Alamar works with seasoned brands and businesses that capital avoids. Alamar focuses on companies, ideas, and brands that can't get capital or attention: whether because of the domain, a lack of founder experience, a lack of sexiness or hotness (think AI), or whatever else keeps investors on the sidelines.

Treezyn came to us with millions in historical revenue, a world-class product, a deep and loyal customer base, and a proven place in the hunting market. What they had was real, very real. What they needed was a partner who could see the strengths, address the weaknesses, and move the business to the next pasture.

A number of issues were holding back growth: a lack of capital, weak media and paid messaging, a high checkout abandonment rate, aging inventory, and poor paid media economics, among others. Alamar joined as a partner, taking a significant equity stake and bringing in executives, expertise, capital, know-how, and a fresh perspective. In year one, Treezyn's revenue grew 20%. Alamar brought in new capital, including non-dilutive capital for ad spend, and ran a full-stack audit across brand, funnel, and channel. Found the gate. Pushed through it together. Treezyn's next revenue month was their best on record.

This is a great example of Alamar's operator experience in practice.
